Firstly, I would like to say Happy St. Patrick’s Day to all of the Irish and Irish-American nail junkies out there. In the spirit of the “Wearin’ O’ the Green”, I did a manicure that is very festive.

The products used today are Julep’s Colbie, Cindy, and Susie, as well as Pure Ice’s Free Spirit. My Sally Hansen Triple Strong base and Seche Vite fast dry top coat are always staples in my nail routine.

To start, I applied 2 coats of Susie after applying my base coat. This minty-green color has been on trend for this spring, so I thought it would make a great base. It applies rich and creamy, and is highly pigmented.

After that was dry, I mimicked a French Manicure using Cindy. Colorful French Manis are all the rage for spring as well.

Then, I took my dotting tool and drew 4-leaf clovers using Pure Ice’s Free Spirit, and layered Cindy over the clover for a little sparkle.

I then proceeded to overlay the French tips with Colbie. It has big flecks of gold and mini flecks of green.

After all was said and done, I applied the Seche Vite top coat, and the manicure was dry in 5 minutes.

I immediately applied my makeup and styled my hair. Time to go celebrate! Where’s my soda bread?
